This role is responsible to cost-effectively maximize the number of incoming qualified B2B leads and candidate registrations on GulfTalent, through optimal use of search engines and performance marketing platforms.

 

Working closely with Product, Sales, Engineering teams, agencies and freelancers, your role will involve:

  • SEO: Maximise organic unpaid traffic, registrations and leads by optimising the site’s ranking on Google – including on-site and off-site techniques, covering both long-tail and short-tail searches
  • Existing PPC Platforms: Optimise current paid B2B and B2C pay-per-click marketing streams – including Google AdWords, Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • New PPC Platforms: Expand PPC platforms to additional ones in order to increase traffic and leads at lower cost, including evaluating and experimenting with other search engines, social networks, native advertising platforms and regional networks
  • Aggregators and affiliate networks: Maximise traffic, registrations and leads obtained through job aggregators (such as Indeed, JobRapido and Google for Jobs) as well as B2B affiliate networks, by optimising existing partnerships as well as expanding to new ones
  • Performance reporting: Continuously track, analyse and report on marketing metrics against previous levels, targets and competition – at the aggregate as well as by segment, including for each platform, geography and audience type. Identify and recommend new metrics where appropriate
  • Industry trends and benchmarking: Stay tuned with the latest trends, developments and best practice techniques in search and performance marketing globally, and leverage them to maximise ROI of GulfTalent’s marketing spend
  • Marketing Roadmap & Budget: Define a long-term marketing roadmap, set priorities based on expected ROI of each initiative, recommend quarterly plans and obtain approval for the plan and required budget, and subsequently report on outcomes achieved for the quarter
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with other team members for achieving business outcomes. Source and manage external parties such as designers, copywriters and agencies to achieve desired results

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelors’ degree in an Engineering, Maths or Science based course from a top tier university
  • International experience acquired through internships or study abroad
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong understanding of recent online trends
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team, and to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Intellectual curiosity and strategic thinking, together with a willingness to roll-up sleeves and execute the detailed work
  • Good understanding of performance marketing, conversions, and online customer acquisition is desirable
  • Proven SEO experience and SEM experience managing PPC campaigns is desirable
