Bristol Myers Squibb is looking for a Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs, Government Affairs & Patient Advocacy.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic communications plans for priority brands as part of the brand team and in collaboration with marketing and/or medical teams and within agreed budgets
  • Develop strategy and content for multi-channel communications activities (traditional, social and digital channels), aligned to brand objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal stakeholders to identify projects where the patient perspective is required and help to support execution of these projects
  • Lead GAs projects and working with Associations (AIPM, InPharma and etc) & HCAs Government level
  • Lead public/ patient activation and disease awareness campaigns
  • Lead media strategy including interactions with local health journalists
  • Manage PR agencies and track progress to ensure communication plans and materials align with the company strategy, budgets, timelines and compliance requirements
  • Manage environmntal monitoring (traditional and social/digital media)
  • Ensure crisis preparedness within company and act as one of the company’s spokespeople
  • Create and manage relationships with key patient advocacy groups by understanding their needs, collaborating on initiatives and co-creating programs that will support them in achieving their objectives and contributing to their long-term sustainability, according to the priorities of the business
  • Actively participate on policy projects involving multiple stakeholders in close collaboration with appropriate internal stakeholders
  • Lead internal communications and support the coordination of internal events
  • Plan and coordinate execution of Corporate Social Responsibility program in line with BMS strategy
  • Build the ‘BMS Brand’ corporate communication strategy
  • Ensure that all BMS interactions with external stakeholders including patient organizations and media are in full compliance with laws and regulations and reflect BMS ethical principles and corporate philosophy


Minimum requirements:

  • Experience in Communications, Journalism, Public relations, Public Policy or similar (e.g. social sciences)
  • 3-5 years’ experience - Previous pharmaceutical PR is a clear asset, as is experience in patient group advocacy and/or market access
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of multi-channel communications plans, including digital and social media channels
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Good knowledge of the local media environment as well as understanding of the Russia health policy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence and work both in a matrix environment and independently
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Agility and enterprise mindset
  • Ability to work competently in software programs including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Fluent in English
