Yandex is looking for an experienced (5+ years of practice) Senior Litigation Counsel to determine strategy and manage domestic and international litigation matters for Yandex. Your scope will include intellectual property, information technology, data protection, intermediary liability matters, business, regulations, and more.
This is a full-time position based in Moscow office.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and work with the team and outside counsel to determine a strategy for multiple litigation matters across a range of issues
- Develop creative approaches to managing legal risks and resolving/pre-empting disputes
- Work with cross-functional teams on a range of issues, including security, content, data protection, policy, products, privacy, business, and regulations
- Provide support to internal teams for various legal requests
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in litigation and dispute resolution management, preferably at a law firm
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Proactive approach, eagerness to bring your ideas to life and find new opportunities and growth points
