Responsibilites
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements, including in a variety of operational areas such as sales, distribution, agency agreements, and other areas of operational support
Provide support to Midea’s growing operations in Russia, Eastern Europe, with the potential expanding the role to include Middle East
Advise local management teams on commercial, employment and regulatory issues
Collaborate with Midea‘s subject matter experts (SMEs) to manage litigation, product safety, regulatory compliance issues and data protection matters
Minimum requirements
Law degree and license to practice law
Reporting line to Midea’s EMEA Executive Legal Counsel
5-7 years of post qualification and corporate and/or commercial experience at a leading law firm, in-house, or a combination thereof; previous in-house experience strongly preferred
Professional level English and Russian skills preferred
Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
Flexibility to work in an international and fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Enjoy working hard and being continually challenged
Sound judgement even in ambiguous situations
Highly organized and client-focused team player.
