The world’s leading manufacturer of high-quality chocolate and cocoa products Barry Callebaut is looking for a Senior legal advisor.
Accountabilities:
Prevent the Company from Law violations
Protect the legal interests of the Company
Make legal expertise of draft orders, instructions, regulations, standards and other legal acts
Drafting and reviewing any kind of legal agreements
Participate in negotiations
Provide legal support to other departments
Represent the interests of the Company in courts, as well as in state and public organizations
Conduct investigations in case of violation by employees of the Code of Conduct and other company policies
Make and organize working with any legal agreements
Execute corporate changes of the company
Investigate compliance cases (in collaboration with the Group Compliance Officer)
Track and inform manager, as well as colleagues about changes in legislation related to the company’s activities
Qualifications:
Master Degree of Legal education
More than 10 years experience in jurisprudence
Experience in managing a legal department is a plus
English – fluent (advanced): business correspondence, communication with colleagues, negotiations with foreign clients, work with legal documents in English
Strong knowledge in Civil law, civil procedure law, administrative law, labor law
MS Office
