В сервис пассажирских перевозок inDrive требуется Senior Lawyer в ОАЭ.
What you'll do:
- Support the business in understanding and complying with legal and regulatory requirements when launching new or existing inLocal products/services, features, and initiatives in different countries
- Engage with cross-functional teams throughout the product lifecycle collaborating in close partnership with the new or existing product development, research and development, inLocal business vertical and marketing teams
- Help to manage inLocal’s intellectual property portfolio including the filing, maintenance and/or protection of inLocal's patent, trademark, copyright, domain names filings and enforcements and other intellectual property assets in collaborating with Global Intellectual property protection department
- Develop data privacy framework including policies, procedures, and templates in collaborating with Global Privacy & Product Compliance
- Manage and work with outside counsel on a variety of matters including litigation, claims substantiation, risk assessment and regulatory updates
- Manage with compliance matters: on-going KYC process, business compliance (creating and reviewing regulatory compliance documentation), filing regulatory reports, memo and other documentation for inDrive Legal department
- Structure, review, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of agreements for technology and services, including software as a service (SaaS) agreements, vendor contracts, online terms of service, privacy statements or privacy policies, data processing agreements and other commercial and technology contracts
- Assist on a variety of employment law, corporate and tax matters as well as
- Provide expert advice and guidance on a wide range of operational, commercial and product counselling inLocal business vertical product matters, including consumer rights protection matters, advertising, marketing matters
- Develop and deliver necessary legal training to the business
Expectations from you:
- Bachelor or Master of Laws degree
- Five (5) years of business law experience as an in-house lawyer in technology start-up projects
- Experience in platform liability, intellectual property, consumer protection, regulatory and compliance schemes to technology and e-commerce products, SaaS industry and customer/third party agreements
- Experience handling IP-related issues arising in software and technology transactions
- A working knowledge of global privacy and data protection laws
- Strong documentation, presentation, and communication skills in a cross-functional and global role
- Fluent in English and Russian
- Highly motivated and able to work independently and under pressure in a start-up environment
- Connector who can facilitate across multiple stakeholders, influence decisions, and help drive teams toward consensus
