Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain the relationships with important government bodies/ industry associations/ foreign embassies/think tanks, attend public events and high-level meeting arrangements, identify potential risks/business opportunities and advocate for the interest of the company;
Tackle market access constraints, employment and corporate regulation issues that might arise;
Monitor, research and interpret of relevant regulatory information;
Develop and implement country-specific government affairs action plans to facilitate the local business;
Respond to government critical issues, resolve differences and protect business interests;
Collaborate cross-functionally with local business units(such as sales and marketing team) and provide support for other relevant issues;
Qualifications and Evaluations
Education: Completion of college or universities is required
Requirements: A minimum of 2-3 hands-on years of experience in government relations in a government body/politics or relevant regulatory agency/industry organization/think tank/private sector, or a position that highly involves GR work; Solid communicational skills and good collaboration capability; Excellent analytical ability, great passion to learn; Ability to grasp complex technical and policy issues and communicate key messages with internal and external stakeholders. Willing to working on difficult issues and capability in solving problems creatively; Self-motivated and resilient; Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment and work under pressure;
Language: Fluent speaking/reading/writing in English is required, Fluent speaking/reading/writing in local language is highly preferred, Mandarin proficiency is not a must but a plus.
