TikTok is seeking an ambitious Senior Financial Reporting Accountant who will be responsible for the correctness of financial statements.
As a part of a team in our rapidly growing business, the candidate will play a key role in compliance and quality of the financial statement and will help to prepare the company for the first year audit.
Responsibilities:
Check compliance and completeness of primary documents under Russian Accounting Standards.
Provide outsourcing accounting team with revenue related information for the purpose of primary document generation. Collaboration with AR team
Participate in financial closing on a monthly basis
Monthly revenue reconciliation with outsourcing accounting team (internal system vs 1C) to guarantee compliance with Russian Accounting Standards.
Check compliance of internal processes to local accounting standards (implementation of internal control procedures towards providing assurance of the high quality of financial statements).
Propose corresponding system optimization requirements in response to the changes in business development
Build/optimize processes, specifications, related templates, etc.
Support the headquarters finance team as requested
Participate in annual audit
Participate in the implementation of electronic document exchange workflow
Regular communication with the local team in terms of collection closing documents, the correctness of input data
Provide relevant support to the business department as necessary
Coordination of intern work regarding sending/scanning/collection/archiving docs
Other work assigned by the leader
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or other related fields from a Russian/CEE/internationally renowned university.
Strong knowledge of Russian Accounting Standards
3-5 years of relevant Finance experience, preferably with prior exposure to advertising revenue.
Strong logical thinking ability, sense of responsibility, good work habits, sound judgment and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Familiar with the local commercial market environment and customer habits in Russia and other Central & CIS countries
Proficient in Russian & English, preferably with Chinese competence.
