The mission of the Senior Financial Accountant is to provide financial accounting expertise to ADME LLC and to ensure alignment with group financial reporting policies and group financial strategy.
Responsibilities:
- You will prepare month-end management accounts for group reporting with assistance from the accounting team in Russia
- You will be responsible for IFRS conversion for group reporting from local reported numbers
- You will review monthly budget variances and explain the reasoning for the variances
- You will lead the forecasting process for the company on a quarterly and annual basis
- You will assist with all tax matters including VAT and Corporate Tax returns and ensure full compliance with local laws & regulations
- You will assist with year-end reporting obligations including the annual group audit process
- You will review & document current internal controls and suggest improvements to improve the overall control environment
- You will assist with cash flow management and spend analysis of the company
- You will provide ongoing advice and assistance to the accounting team in Russia
- You will participate in global finance projects including investment and cost reviews and making recommendations
Requirements:
- You hold a Degree in Accounting & Finance
- You are ACA (preferred), CIMA or ACCA qualified
- You have a minimum of 5 years accounting experience working in Russia (preferably an audit background from Russia)
- You have an excellent understanding of local compliance and accounting knowledge
- You are fluent in English & Russian
- You have the ability to develop relationships and work as part of a team
- You have the ability to travel to our Kazan office on a regular basis
- You have good MS Office skills, especially strong capabilities in MS Excel, reporting & Excel modelling skills
- Previous experience with NAV and 1C will be highly beneficial
- Accuracy and attention to detail are absolutely essential
- You are able to relocate to Cyprus
