A leading consulting company ALTHAUS is seeking a Senior Associate M&A Legal.
The position includes the following responsibilities
Participation in complex M&A transactions, corporate restructurings and other projects under Russian and English law
Legal support of M&A transactions, due diligence, projects in the field of corporate law and the securities market (with minimal involvement of a partner)
Participation in marketing events (writing reviews, articles, participation in conferences, etc.)
What we are looking for
Law degree awarded by a prestigious university
LLB or post-graduate degree/qualification with foreign university is an advantage
From 6 + years’ of PQE
Work experience with Russian law firm, BIG4, investment fund in such practice areas as Corporate/M&A, IP and Digital Technology
Preparedness to lead complex M&A transactions, e.g. interact directly with clients, participate in negotiations, instruct and supervise mid-level and junior lawyers
Extensive experience with both Russian law and English law
Fluent English and sophisticated level of drafting skills in both Russian and English
Strong sense of responsibility for the result
You should also be prepared to invest your time and skills into development and promotion of success of the practice (that includes marketing activities and educating junior lawyers)
