Sterling Payment Services Limited, a part of Lion Alliance Capital Holding is a Hong Kong MSO licensed company that provide payment and fintech services. Company provides SWIFT / SEPA payments, plastic cards and card processing and other developing fintech instruments for companies involved in international trade of goods.
Responsibilities:
- Participation in complex M&A transactions, corporate restructurings and other projects under Russian and English law
- Legal support of M&A transactions, due diligence, projects in the field of corporate law and the securities market (with minimal involvement of a partner)
- Participation in marketing events (writing reviews, articles, participation in conferences, etc.)
Requirements:
- Law degree awarded by a prestigious university
- Post-graduate degree/qualification with foreign university as an advantage
- From 3 + years’ of PQE
- Work experience with Russian law firm, BIG4, investment fund in such practice areas as Corporate/M&A, IP and Digital Technology
- Preparedness to lead complex M&A transactions, e.g. interact directly with clients, participate in negotiations, instruct and supervise mid-level and junior lawyers
- Extensive experience with both Russian law and English law
- Fluent English and sophisticated level of drafting skills in both Russian and English, knowledge of German language as advantage
- Strong sense of responsibility for the result
- You should also be prepared to invest your time and skills into development and promotion of success of the practice (that includes marketing activities and educating junior lawyers)
