Reuters is looking for a talented Senior Accountant.

The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining accounts and records in various general and cost accounting functions.
Responsibilities:
Prepare tax reporting for a branch of a foreign organization; prepare reports in accordance with GAAP standards at the request of the parent company;
Prepare VAT reports;
Interact with tax authorities, prepare responses to their inquiries as necessary;
Prepare and verify balance sheets in accordance with Russian standards and GAAP;
Maintain customer payment account in accordance with Russian standards and GAAP;
Prepare and send monthly accounts receivable reports; work with credit control and sales department;
Issue invoices and acts to customers, control accounts receivable, reconcile settlements with customers;
Verify contracts with suppliers – assess them for solvency and reliability according to the Tax Code of the Russian Federation;
Participate in financial audit preparation (Big4), prepare reports and coordinate the audit process;
Verify bank payment documents according to internal and SOX regulations;
Partner with and provide support to the business where needed.
Requirements:
Degree in Finance/Accounting;
4 years accounting experience with a global or multi-national company preferred;
Knowledge of Russian tax legislation and compliance regulations;
Knowledge of IFRS;
Confident user of 1С, experience with SAP ERP desirable.
