About this position:
- Review contracts with clients for any potential risks, consult the sales team on any amendments if required
- Participate in automation projects. Participate in external audits, provide explanations as requested by auditors. Back up the Lead Accountant during absence
Maintain Accounts Receivable scope of responsibilities:
- Provide accurate and timely customer billing support – prepare acts of acceptance, invoices according to contract terms and conditions and reconcile statement with the clients
- Liaise with customer payment accounts to ensure the RSBU standards and US GAAP requirements are met
- Participate in monthly closing process in terms of Revenue recognition
- Partner with the credit control and sales department and provide support to the business as required
- Liaise with the clients to ensure that the electronic document workflow system is maintained in accordance with RSBU standards
- Prepare answers to Tax authorities’ inquiries related to customers documentation
- Prepare VAT reporting for Moscow branch and parental TR legal entities
- Prepare and verify Balance Sheet reconciliation report in accordance with the Corporate standards and requirements
Team management:
- Manage accounting team in Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Georgia. Effectively manage performance among reports, coach and mentor team members so they can improve their skills and develop
- Control financial statements in Kazakhstan, Georgia, Ukraine, approve banking and funding requests
