Tasks
Participate and coordinate closing of financial period in 1C, monthly control of all posted expenses and trial balance analysis
Responsible for the “General expenses” section. Ensure timeliness, completeness and correctness of data in the accounting system. Monitor their validity, ensure availability, correctness and completeness of the primary documents, keep accounting records, internal registers and reports, follow the requirements of Russian accounting and tax rules, as well as of IFRS / US GAAP standards.
Reflect transactions on intangible assets and fixed assets. Calculate the initial cost of assets, put assets into and out of implementation, create asset cards, and determine the useful life and depreciation groups. Control FA / IA registers.
Keep records of estimated liabilities and reserves, calculation of Intercompany revenue and recharge.
Cash flow preparation
Participate in development and improvement of accounting process and procedures
Communication with external auditor, coordination of audit process, collection of information upon auditors’ request
Contracts review (accounting related)
Preparation of statistics reports
Other assignments of the chief accountant and participation in projects
Skills
At least 5 years of working experience in finance, accounting
Profound knowledge of 1C 8.3., experienced Excel user
Knowledge of accounting principles, regulatory standards according to Russian Tax and Accounting Legislation
Communications skills with the ability to build long term cross-functional partnerships
English — speaking and writing skills (at least intermediate)
