А leading agriculture company Syngenta is looking for a Seeds Marketing Head who will be responsible for the definition and execution of the annual marketing plan and the support to the country team in improving overall business performance.

 

Accountabilities
Defines and implements the annual marketing plan in close connection with the sales team, within the agreed Marketing budget and in coordination with regional marketing activities.
Coordinate the marketing and business planning process across all the relevant crop for the CU
Build and coach the team of product managers and technical experts to build and drive the campaign and it’s execution through sales and propose reactivity plan needed to deliver on the business objectives
Organize and coordinate the development of the 5YP for the CU to take advantage of business opportunities and clearly define key strategies and enablers to deliver on the plan.
Set directions related to A&P, define key customer events, communication mix directions, and monitoring execution
Reviews and approves marketing spending plans in the frame of the agreed budget and business objectives
Champion customer centricity in the organization and develop ensure that the voice of the customers plays a central role in the development of our marketing activities.
Supports business performance improvement by providing data driven customer insights and feedback through internal external market data (NPS).
Ensures the active and appropriate use of the CRM tool by the sales team and ensure that the account planning & tracking process is implemented
Develop the new marketing capabilities, and in particular on digitalization, and develop the skills of the marketing organization and transfer the know how to sales.

 

Knowledge, experience & capabilities:
Successful direct experience in seeds business with marketing experience in portfolio, communication and customer marketing
Strong knowledge of marketing and technical development in multinational companies; Strong combination of business acumen, education in running a seed business, good knowledge of farming and agriculture in general.
Ability to balance Long-term vision of market potential, evolution, business opportunities – especially in digitalization and customer experience with short term execution
Demonstrated ability to lead changes and create collaborative winning team mindset in Marketing and beyond
Demonstrated ability to significantly grow business results and market shares
Ability to work in cross functional teams and collaborated to achieve strong enterprise results
Demonstrated ability to work entrepreneurially and grow the teams in a sustainable and self-funding way.
Agile in interacting with ag stakeholders, partners, officials and industry players
Strong attention to seeds business critical KPIs for commercial execution and remediation plans when needed

A-player with ability to attract, develop, motivate and coach winning teams
Business improvement mindset and strong management discipline
Good team player able to share best practices with peers out of cluster.
