Position Description:
Company is seeking an individual to join the Strategic Expat Talent Acquisition Unit (SETA) within the Staffing Services function at Saudi Aramco as a Search Partner. SETA is the in-house executive search team responsible for delivering high level and critical/niche search engagements. The position will report to the Head, Strategic Expat Talent Acquisition and is based in Dhahran, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • As the successful candidate you will manage the delivery of end-to-end search engagements in relation to strategic expat requirements, and in so doing will be the primary interface between SETA and internal hiring organizations. In delivering search engagements, you will also take a leading role in research activities, whether conducted directly within Saudi Aramco, or externally by either overseas subsidiary recruitment offices or external executive search consultancies
  • Ultimately, the role of the Search Partner will be to deliver world-class, in-house executive search solutions to internal clients, which will enable these internal hiring organizations to identify, engage and secure the very best talent, whether active or passive, in the global talent marketplace

 

Specific accountabilities include:

  • Internal Client Management – Acting as the primary interface between SETA and internal hiring organizations, partnering closely with them on their most strategic expat requirements; ultimately reinforcing the reputation of SETA as a trusted and credible business partner in relation to strategic expat requirements
  • Candidate Sourcing – Leading research activities for specific search engagements, utilizing a wide variety of tools and channels to conduct research to identify prospective candidates for strategic expat requirements; representing the company at industry events and networking broadly across the global talent market with a view to building a network of prospective candidates for Saudi Aramco; developing and maintaining discipline-specific talent pools and talent communities
  • Candidate and Stakeholder Engagement – Engaging with candidates directly or through overseas subsidiary recruitment offices in relation to strategic expat requirements within Saudi Aramco and ensuring the employee value proposition is appropriately articulated to them; ensuring that candidates’ progression through the recruitment process is seamless, thereby facilitating a comfortable and effective decision-making progress regarding employment with the company; engaging with a variety of internal stakeholders within Saudi Aramco including hiring organizations, other HR/recruitment teams, other internal partners, and overseas subsidiary recruitment offices to facilitate timely talent acquisition; engaging with external stakeholders including executive search consultancies and other service providers in the delivery of their services
  • Candidate Assessment – Leading and participating in assessment interventions with a view to establishing candidate fit in relation to strategic expat requirements; overseeing arrangements in relation to candidate interview and assessment activities; continually working to develop the assessment toolkit and suite of interventions
  • Offer Management – Overseeing candidate offer processes for relevant strategic expat requirements, ensuring that all stakeholders have a complete understanding of offer elements and that these are effectively communicated with a view to closing out offer processes
  • Information Management – Managing all search engagement information and tracking, and ensuring that candidate information remains accurate, complete and current
  • Advisory Services – Providing high-level advisory services to internal hiring organizations in relation to organizational development, talent acquisition strategies, candidate assessment methodologies, the application of compensation and benefits policy and the global talent marketplace
  • Planning and Reporting – Formulating and maintaining short-, medium- and long-term plans in relation to the delivery of accountabilities, with a view to planning team deliverables and for presentation to relevant stakeholders; delivering a variety of scheduled and ad hoc reports to assist in the delivery of recruitment processes as well as personal and team accountabilities
  • Travel – Travelling domestically and internationally as required, frequently at short notice, to network with candidates, support internal hiring organizations and engage with stakeholders abroad

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or a related discipline. An MBA or a Master’s degree in a business discipline or human resources would be a definite advantage
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in executive recruitment (gained in-house and/or in external consultancy), preferably including experience specifically in retained executive search as an executive search consultant or an executive search researcher
  • Deep knowledge of contemporary talent sourcing principles and a proven track record in the utilization of talent sourcing tools and channels
  • Strong exposure to HR policy interpretation and the application of sophisticated compensation and benefits frameworks
  • Experience recruiting within the Oil and Gas industry or analogous industry sectors, ideally with current or prior professional exposure to the Arabian Gulf/Middle East region is desired
  • Gravitas, credibility and superb communication skills, with a view to providing high-touch engagement to senior-level hiring managers and candidates, and other senior-level stakeholders
  • A proven ability to manage multiple and competing stakeholder requirements
  • Solid commercial acumen with advanced negotiation skills
  • Strong integrity, honesty and ethics
