Microsoft is looking to hire an experienced Sales Operations Program Manager.

 

The Sales Operations Program Manager supports the RU subregion General Manager and their segment sales organization across the full spectrum of the Sales Operations portfolio. The position acts as the interface to the assigned sales teams and is responsible for implementation, facilitation, communication and training of Sales Operations processes and policies within the subregion.

 

This individual must work collaboratively with sales leadership, sales managers and across the CEE Sales Operations organization with area and subregion peers. The position is expected to lead a team of Sales Operation Specialists that raise sales efficiency, sales productivity and process compliance within the subregion by means of consulting with the sales force and implementing best practice sales operations processes.

 

In addition to supporting the GM and the subregion segment leadership, the position will also include certain area wide responsibilities for specific subject matter areas and related project responsibilities. For those responsibilities the position will act as the primary interface between the CEE area, the CEE subregions and the WW organization.

 

Responsibilities
Develops and provides business insights, partners with the relevant stakeholders on business discussions based on data and process guidance for billed and consumption pipeline and revenue & annuity
Orchestrate and facilitate the weekly pipeline reviews with the Sales Management team as well as other required business reviews (e.g. TOP deals reviews)
Provides continuous inspection on data quality for the Subregion Customer/Partner Data Base
Assist sales leaders with the preparation for monthly and quarterly reviews. Ensure they fully understand the content and provides guidance and orientation by identifying key points of attention
Support the effective use of our corporate CRM to raise salesforce productivity and compliance with maintenance standards is within targets
Support landing and adoption of standardized reporting/BI and tools
Support the subregion sales leaders with yearly planning (blueprint, account segmentation, partner planning, quota distribution, etc.) across the subregion and the next year’s Fast Start activities and compliance
Support the subregion leaders with Sales initiatives (program creation, set up, follow through)
Attend subregion leadership meetings on a regular basis to provide updates on relevant Sales Operations initiatives and developments
Lead and support subregion wide Sales Operations initiatives and projects for those assigned areas
Supports standardization of processes/tools and drives continuous improvement to optimize productivity

 

Qualifications and Requirements:
10+ years of work experience in sales operations or equivalent function with significant exposure to Sales management teams
Team leadership experience
Experience working in the European market
Software industry background
Sales Operations competence (forecasting, planning, sales systems, processes and methodologies, compensation and quota management
General understanding of Sales Systems and knowledge domains relevant to specific processes and practices (within their application track)
Experience with financial modelling and analytical tools such as Excel, databases, etc. Nice to have: experience using Microsoft Dynamics (or equivalent CRM system), SAP and analytics tools
Program management experience
Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis, yet translate those results to easily digestible messages, communications, and presentations for Sales Executives
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, manage conflicting priorities and to complete assignments under aggressive time constraints independently
Demonstrated ability to be productive with minimal supervision. Must be results oriented and able to move forward without complete information
Ability to work effectively with a diverse audience, management levels, cultures, and personalities
Excellent communications and presentation skills
Has an understanding of the people, processes, technology issues and a passion regarding customer service (internal and external) and delivery/execution
Strong drive and will to succeed
Flexibility and ability to adjust on the fly to new demands; sense of urgency
Fluent in written and verbal English
BS/BA required; MBA a plus, but not required.
