Parabol, the open-source meeting app for remote and agile teams, is looking for a Sales Lead.
You Are:
- 7+ years experience working in sales, with experience leading sales teams and coaching sales people
- Energized by both consultative sales processes and coaching sales people
- Curious (“how’s it work?”), competitive (“I like to win!”), & tenacious (“never give up!”)
- Skilled at figuring out what motivates other people in order to make a sale
- Not shy to ask uncomfortable questions
- Relationship-oriented, thoughtful, and enjoy helping others
- Data-driven, iterative, and experimentally minded
- Bonus points for: experience with freemium products, B2B SaaS, Enterprise Sales, self-hosted products, government sales processes, and/or Open Source Software
Commitment & Accountabilities:
- Full-time employment
- Building company strategy and working with Head of Growth to define priorities (segments, stages, accounts, etc.) and goals for the Sales team, reviewing data on progress to prioritize experiments and evolve sales strategies, and working with team members to improve performance
- Recommending the size and skill mix of the sales team to the Growth Lead based on lead volume, business goals, and other business factors
- Maintaining and developing a bench of sales talent, leading role interview design, onboarding, and off-boarding
- Setting the pace for the Sales team, including defining meeting schedules and managing sprint planning and experimentation
- Researching, prioritizing, and qualifying incoming sales opportunities, and expansion opportunities with existing accounts, and then leading sales efforts with these
- Providing input to Head of Growth and Product Lead on pricing, packaging, and partnership opportunities
