GCG Real Estate, a business unit of the Global Capital Group, is a US real estate investment specialist developing three strategies: Fixed income, opportunistic and long term placements in single and multifamily space. With a team of professional asset managers, bankers, auditors, analysts and CPA’s, GCG Real Estate is looking to acquire a billion dollars in assets over the next 5-7 years and become a major player for foreign investors looking to invest into US real estate markets. 
To achieve its ambitious goals GCG Real Estate is looking for a Sales Director / Unit Head Private Equity Investments to join team and expand network of targets, potential clients and active investors of the Private Equity (PE) vehicles.

What You need to Succeed:

  • 10+ years of sales experience within the Financial Services / Real Estate industry with at least 5 in a leadership role
  • Be based in the UAE for the last 5 plus years in a sales role
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English; French Russian and other languages a great advantage
  • Strong sales and management skills, ability to network on an institutional level
  • You have a network of high net worth individuals and finance professionals and will develop further relationships for GCG RE
  • You have raised in excess of USD 10M over the last two years in PE deals
  • You have a background in Wealth, Portfolio Management, PE, and/or U.S. Real estate funds
  • You lead by example and own your own P&L as well as your teams
  • You love the hunt, the searching /negotiating for new business
  • A passion for recruiting, training and motivating your sales team to drive sales revenue
  • Excellent listening, problem solving, multi-cultural and interpersonal skills to grasp client requirements and how offerings could be positioned to fit their needs
  • Company believes in being big hearted, empathetic, honest, available and collaborative. Also enjoy working, laughing and keeping a smile – even under pressure
  • Solid utilisation of: Google Platform & Tools, Asana, Slack, Calendy, Zoom & Hubspot

 

How You Will Work, What You Will Do in this Role:

  • Place products of the company and introduce company to financial professionals and individual with investment appetite for US Real estate
  • Acquire and develop an existing network of FO, HNWI and Institutional investors
  • Increase brand reputation by attending events, assisting in PR campaigns
  • Generate at least 10 qualified leads per month through existing network at a minimum ticket of $100k
  • Assist in selling USD 5-10M per year worth of PE vehicles
  • Cultivate new leads, relationships and opportunities
  • Assist in creation of networking events for the company
  • Give feedback on sales/product/marketing to the Company
  • Guide product development on the selling side
