Nestled between the calm turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf and the majestic Dubai skyline, Atlantis, The Palm is the crown of the world-famous Palm island in Dubai. It was the first resort to be built on the island and is themed on the myth of Atlantis, but includes distinct Arabian elements. The 1,548 room nautically themed resort has two accommodation wings, consisting of the East and the West Tower, linked together by the Royal Bridge Suite. It is complemented by the Aquaventure water park and the Lost Chambers Aquarium, home to over 65,000 marine animals.
About The Role
We currently have an opportunity for a Director, Sales focusing primarily on driving sales throughout the CIS and Russian markets. In this role, you will report directly to and work with closely with the VP of Sales, implementing and driving the sales strategy across the resort for the markets.
Primarily you will be responsible for establishing, implementing and executing sales efforts to ensure the resort remains a market leader, continually exceeding annual revenue and occupancy targets. You will maximize sales, grow business share and ensure the resort maintains the highest level of professional profile throughout the travel industry.
About You
In order to maximize revenue opportunities and drive market share, you will be well connected and versed with key trade partners and have a strong presence within the luxury market segment, preferably with experience in CIS and Russia. You will also be responsible for taking the lead and managing the sales effort for specific travel agency and tour operator accounts, initiate tactical promotions and initiatives to drive sales to Atlantis, The Palm Dubai, coupled with managing Service Level Agreements with key accounts and implementing measurement against agreed targets.
