Guess is seeking a Russian speaking General Ledger Accountant.
Your responsibilities:
Ensuring that all bookings are aligned with Company policies and procedures
Preparing various and ad-hoc reports for the management
Performing monthly Intercompany Reconciliation
Maintaining of fixed and asset register
Liaising with internal departments and external customers to solve any issues in an efficient and effective manner
Interfacing with a local consultant in order to respect local compliance and Local TAX payments
Closing annual statutory report
Managing annual audits based on local requirements and preparing the related documentation
Reconciling and ensuring the accuracy of general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
Maintaining and ensuring accuracy and completeness of fixed asset sub-ledger
Ensuring all working practices are compiled and ensuring deadlines are met
Monthly accounting closing process and preparation of requested SOX documentation
Ensuring items are processed in an accurate and timely manner following Local GAAP and US GAAP principles
Overviewing on AR and AP cycle assuring no issue are incurring
Our requirements:
Degree in Accounting or similar
At least 1-2 years of experience in a similar position
Fluent Russian is a must
Fluent English (any other language is a plus — especially French, German, Spanish)
Flexibility, commitment, and self-motivation
Advanced Excel knowledge
Ability to understand and analyze problems in a short time frame and strong interpersonal and project management skills
US GAAP knowledge is a plus
