Overview:
The main objective is to supervise effectively the whole financial function of School and ensure company uses capital and resources beneficially in accordance with the set targets and budget. To fulfil the companies’ obligations, the Head of Finance has to create the foundation of School financial health in the long run.
Requirements:
- University degree in Math/Economics/Finance/Accounting/Management
- Proven work experience in related field as a Deputy Head / Head of Finance
- Excellent knowledge of finance data analysis and budgeting
- Extensive understanding RAS accounting and tax regulations in Russia
- Experience working with governmental authorities (reporting and inspections) and audit organisations
- Fluent English and Russian
- Advanced problem-solving & decision-making skills
- Ability to organise/maintain large amount of paperwork and data flows
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- High sense of responsibility & flexibility
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of finance and accounting teams
- Implementing school financial and accounting policies and procedures in compliance with the Russian financial regulation
- Developing and follow-up of monthly, quarterly and annual budgets
- Establishing financial strategies
- Oversee all audit and internal control operations
- Preparation and participation in audit inspections
- Interaction with banks
- Control of tax and accounting reporting
- Implementation of cost-saving and cost-reducing procedures and budget optimisation actions
- Develop secure procedures to maintain confidential information
- Preparation and presentation of periodical reports to the School management
Conditions:
- Working schedule non-regular hours - 5/2, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
