Role summary and responsibilities:
- This role requires strong business acumen with deep understanding of Pfizer Vaccines business, apply customer insights to prioritize the efforts and support markets to achieve the financial goals and support incremental growth for novel assets through operation supports, launch excellence and uptake acceleration
- Vaccines portfolios are strongly growing both in terms of revenue and number of products to launch 5+ products (including PCV20, RSV, etc) by 2024-2026. To ensure appropriate focus on the in-line and pipeline products, the colleague on this is role will:
- Work closely with EM CD, brand/marketing team and cross functional team to assess the commercial potential of pipeline assets for identified countries in the region
- Support country teams to evaluate pipeline assets commercial opportunity in new therapeutic area through own/acquired market knowledge, synthesizing primary and secondary market research, and customer insights
- Build scenarios and risk assessments for the pipeline forecast with the knowledge in market access and pricing to support forecast assumption
- Support new product launch strategic priorities and key initiatives are well implemented in EM MERA including access, affordability, digital and others
- Be accountable for regional new product launch tactical plan execution, work with the external agency and the cross-functional team, and manage the budget
- Work with the regional leads to reach KPIs
- Ensure effective communication and best practices sharing across the markets for new product launch preparation
- Accountable for regional tactical plan execution and coordinate the communication of regional events
- Support MERA strategic priorities and key initiatives implemented in EM MERA
- Work with PML/BML for portfolio optimization and rationalization
- This position will report into EM MERA Vaccines RTAL
Qualifications:
- Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, oversee, and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum 8-year pharmaceutical industry experience in one or more of the following disciplines: Marketing, Strategy, New Product Launch, New Business Assessment, Commercial Development, Business Analytics, Project Management
- Broad industry knowledge across different therapeutic areas; understanding of commercial development function, knowledge
- Understanding of Vaccines and new product launch concept is required
