Brown-Forman Russia is searching for a Regional Trade-Marketing Manager.


What You Can Expect:

Strategy & business development:

Inputs into the situation analysis of customer, business issues and opportunities across the portfolio to inform the customer and channel activation strategies & plans to unlock volume and value growth.

Provide relevant insights on regional developments which would feed to correct region/cities prioritization and efficient resource allocation. Partner with the Sales team to identify key focus geographies to ensure proper resource allocation.

Leads the creation of optimal portfolio per channel/Key customer aligned with portfolio strategy and providing maximized value.

Creates Picture of Success and Planograms for key customers in the regions in cooperation with Brand and Commercial teams and based on available guideline by channel; follows executions in the field.

Team Management & Development:

Manages and develops the team of 6 Trade-marketing specialists (direct reports).

Sets a KPIs system providing tools and frames for the work.

Acts as a role model of B-F values - leads a diverse and inclusive culture where different perspectives are encouraged, and individuals feel connected and valued.

In collaboration with the HR department, identifies the team’s capability gaps and addresses them through appropriate learning and development programs.


Leads effective deployment of Brand Strategies and Integrated activity calendar on regional and local level in off & on trade channels primarily in close coordination with Brand-Marketing, RSMs and On-trade.

Constantly thrives to optimize our activities for all touchpoints in the Modern trade trade by looking for competitor insights, building onto own assessment analysis and looking for synergies across brands.

Develops tools for planning, execution and assessment of activities excellence in execution approach. Pre & post evaluate customer activations to ensure that they deliver against agreed KPI’s, Critical Success Factors and ROI.

Input customer specific learnings into the development of annual cycle plans.

Leads activities execution in an efficient and effective manner, explores new opportunities for growth in the channels, proactively applying test & learn approach. Be responsible for building BF brands prominence in the channel.

Ensures effective exchange of insights & learnings between the regions as well as best practices sharing, drives collaboration and makes sure regions don't work in silo.

Ensures that each brand's proposition is brought to life through customer activation plans. Using brand developed distinctive assets and toolkits work with agency partners to create customer activity briefs including design, POSM, sales promotion outlining requirements, timings and budgets. Ensures that all outputs conform to legal and brand guidelines.

Plans and manages Regional TM budget. Work with the Finance Team to review Trade Marketing investments and make recommendations for any changes that might benefit the portfolio and customers to effectively and efficiently allocate resources and maximize ROI.

Cooperates with purchasing and supply chain teams to work on the timely design, procurement, implementation/provision and evaluation of developed strategies, plans and executions (including Gift Packs).


What You Bring to the Table:

College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent).

Years of relevant experience in sales, marketing or retail environment.

Solid FMCG experience and business acumen.

Fluent in Russian and English – written and oral.

People Management.

Analytical skill.

Negotiation skills.
