IKEA is searching for a Regional Marketing Manager.
What you'll need to have:
Minimum of 5 years proven experience in managing marketing in a multichannel retailer (incl. digital/e-commerce/physical store) in a Marketing Manager role;
Experience of working in a strategic communication, media planning (paid, owned, and earned), creating and implementing local market plans, setting budgets and following up goals;
Proven experience in managing and developing people
Strong communication and networking skills with capacity to influence decisions and commitments in different parts of the organisation/region;
Broad knowledge of strategic planning processes, Digital & Multichannel marketing in Multichannel retailing;
Extensive knowledge of Online and offline media landscape (owned, earned and paid);
Broad knowledge of Market and consumer & customer intelligence and multichannel performance measurement (situation analyses);
Extensive knowledge of Market research methodology and analysis;
Strong knowledge of Life at Home and home furnishing;
Good knowledge of brand management and marketing management (including e-commerce, digital, mass and 1to1);
Extensive knowledge of Agency briefing processes;
Extensive knowledge of Budget management;
Broad knowledge of Competence development and change management;
Ability to communicate confidently and clearly in English, both written and spoken.
What you'll be doing day to day:
Be responsible to develop the Marketing part of the Regional Penetration plan (Primary Market Area, PMA and Secondary Sales Area, SSA), with expert support from Country Marketing team, to ensure a clear growth and brand positioning through attracting and activating customer and consumers;
Be an active player in providing expertise and insights to the Regional Management team and secure the leadership and marketing contribution (including marketing part of BPL and Market boards preparation) in the broader management decisions impacting IKEA as a Brand, Company and Employer. Collaborate with the Regional Management team and colleagues in seeking new multichannel business opportunities through fact-based consumer and customer insight, marketing performance metrics and relevant marketing solutions/activities/tools to secure strong market position;
Lead the IKEA Positioning Strategy implementation and positioning opportunities aimed at broadening the IKEA customer base in a multichannel context, including Brand position and competitive position, Life at home and home furnishing interest;
Plan for and implement surveys at the Region level, share local insights based on data and best practices between Markets in order to provide relevant insights to relevant stakeholders for appropriate actions to be taken;
Develop the multichannel Marketing activities plan (MAP), including paid media part, for the Region based on Country MAP. Lead Region MAP implementation to ensure visitation and positioning goals within existing business frames for assigned region, applying re-visitation and visitation mechanics and activities;
Develop and lead plans to recruit, activate and retain IKEA Family members through an intimate understanding of the markets and both IKEA Family members and non-members to ensure they visit IKEA more frequently and buy more;
Develop and secure implementation of Regional level plan of IKEA presence in the shopping mall to increase cross-visitation and stimulate both spontaneous and planned visits to IKEA store;
Brief, de-brief and evaluate outcome of marketing agencies to secure efficiency of investments and great marketing performance;
Lead the marketing output to secure alignment with the IKEA Concept, Brand guidelines, Positioning strategy and Marketing & Communication Direction. Ensure Inspiration and creativity in all marketing communication solutions to keep unique IKEA tone of voice;
Responsible for the Regional marketing budget, measuring marketing performance metrics, identifying cost efficiency, monitoring and following up all marketing investments to secure Return Off Investments (ROI) goals;
Lead, coach and develop the Marketing team to secure an inspiring and motivating environment where talents and high-performing potentials are continuously developed including long-term competence building, succession planning and diversity and inclusion by being a good example of IKEA leadership in ways that express the IKEA values within and outside IKEA.
