Wargaming is looking to hire a Regional Marketing Director, based in Moscow, Russia to be the key marketing person in the region in charge of driving and developing the local marketing strategy and practices for an announced project which is being developed. This is an opportunity for a seasoned product-marketing expert to take a new title to market.

The candidate will work closely with the Publishing Director for East, as well as the regional player relations teams in creating and constantly evolving the approach in user acquisition and brand activities.

 

Requirements:

  • Understanding of F2P principles, in-game funnel, and user acquisition.
  • Strong brand management knowledge in product marketing for a globally well-known brand.
  • Deep understanding of online and offline marketing.
  • Understanding of how to measure the effect from different advertisements—ROI, retention, in-game audience behavior.
  • Analytics experience, including audience surveys and segmentation, then applying the results into real marketing experience.
  • Deep understanding of F2P games’ launch strategy, live operations and marketing’s role in it.
  • Ability to build detailed weekly/monthly reports and executive reports in Tableau.
  • Business development experience; making deals with telecoms, media companies, platforms (i.e. Steam, Windows Store, etc.).
  • Pioneering approach to marketing practices and tools capitalizing on evolution in industry trends and customer expectations.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Online games publishing experience with a focus on CIS: working with international teams and offices that are situated around the globe, understanding of cultural differences and nuances.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial estimations.
  • First person shooter experience.
  • Strong understanding of the free to play market.
  • Fluent English.
