Job Description:
- Provide insightful analysis based on required management reporting and analysis to the business unit and Corporate Finance, ensuring a coherent financial picture to support business decision management.
- Develop and maintain various work interfaces to ensure integration of all business performance parameters; provide financial insight to the sub regional manager, country GM and commercial teams to ensure that short and long-term business decisions are based on solid financial reasoning.

- Oversee all commercial business planning activities including long range plan, annual operating plan and forecasting, ensuring that business and financial drivers are transparent.
- Provide insight and guidance to the leadership team to support strategic planning and decision making regarding business opportunities and future pipeline.
- Guide GM and commercial teams on all applicable financial guidelines and local legislation and identify risks to ensure adherence.
- Effectively collaborate with the various finance functions to maintain oversight of all financial activity in the country
- Identify, recruit, develop and retain qualified financial professionals to provide high level service to the business. Implement managerial practices to ensure the team’s high performance, modeling Teva's values and leadership framework.
- Serve as an influential member of the local commercial leadership team, who impacts decision making and takes an active role in promoting business initiatives, team work and collaboration.
- Implement global best practices locally and actively share local perspective, knowledge and lessons learned to contribute and support a best-in-class professional level of finance globally.
- Continuously assess and improve (simplify and focus) local financial processes in the area, throughout the integration and after
- Oversee cash flow planning and ensure availability of funds as needed.
- Develop and utilize forward-looking, predictive models and activity-based financial analyses to provide insight into the organization’s operations and business plans.
- Oversee the accounting department to ensure proper maintenance of all accounting systems and function
- Ensures maintenance of appropriate internal controls and financial procedures.
- Ensure timeliness, accuracy, and usefulness of financial and management reporting for US GAAP
- Oversees statutory reports tax, local ve US Taxation responsibilities,Review and approve statutory reports of the legal entity for local jurisdictions that require statutory financial statements to be filed.
- Support all market and business development activities in APAC from a financial functional point of view.
- Capital Expenditure, Inventory & Fixed Asset Management.
Qualifications:
- Academic background – academic degree – accounting, economics, (CPA and/or MBA – preferable);
- Experience in financial position in an industrial company - preferably in operations of a pharmaceutical company:
- Experience in a senior financial-management role, partnering with executive staff, resulting in the development and implementation of creative financial management strategies;
- At least five years of experience as CFO or equivalent;
- Adequate knowledge and understanding of accounting principles
- Adequate financial, analytical and modeling skills (e.g., return on investment evaluations).
- Adequate knowledge of compliance & controls - SOX compliance and local financial regulations; Teva accounting policies and guidelines.
- Able to work in multinational environment, Experience in US GAAP, Excellent written and oral communication skills, Excellent people management and development skills (proven track record of developing high performer financial managers) and Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills.
