Japan Tobacco International is looking for an R&D Services Agile Project Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct all pulled tasks & handle NPD projects & initiatives and related requests from R&D perspective, including maintenance in the various systems and respective required communication & coordination with all stakeholders involved; act as R&D core and/or extended team member in cross-functional initiatives and projects. Ensure transparent end-to-end service delivery to customers and partner functions
- Provide packaging material specifications, lead artwork development & documentation in the various systems and control related project documentation
- Adopt reasonable and adequate measures to ensure high level of data accuracy of own and other's work output. Communicate precisely and openly in case of defects, failures, and learnings, and uses applicable quality management system procedures and tools, such as IDR backlogs or CAPA database
- Proactively pull tasks (project tasks, non-project tasks, IDR items) from squad backlog, take ownership, lead them to finish and communicate solution to other squads / RDS
- Contribute actively to the squad performance as per defined objectives & key results, the continuous improvement system and team ceremonies according to the agreed principles of self-organizing RDS squads and agile ways-of-working
- Inform RDS colleagues about timeline, status, and deliverables of NPD initiatives. Lead the creation of global and brand standards, base artworks, and other development references, according to customer briefing, facilitate effective adoption by markets. Apply sound risk management principles
- Initiate and execute projects targeting at process improvements and business efficiency enhancement in alignment with the squad members, Backlog Owners, Business Partner, or Agile Lead. Prepare all documents related to efficiency enhancement and continuous improvement of processes and procedures
Major requirements & skills:
- University degree in business administration, economics, or comparable commercial business experience & training
- At least two years of business practice in the tobacco industry in an international environment
- Knowledge of tobacco product manufacturing processes and comprehensive materials knowledge
- Knowledge of cigarette and packaging materials and their production processes
- Good communication and presentation skills and a high level of team orientation
- Excellent analytical skills
- Solid knowledge of the most common PC software applications incl. SAP and Process Management tools
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
