Henkel is looking for an R&D Packaging Group Manager.
Your role:
- Oversees and organizes new packaging development projects, executes strategy consistent with defined business plan
- Guides team regarding new approaches, solutions, processes, packagings within an agreed timeframe
- Ensures fulfillment of performance, quality and cost requirements
- Defines and plans resources to meet planned objectives
- Ensures compliance with Henkel corporate SHE standards, policies and procedures
- Develops team members regarding leadership commitments, technical and digital competences
- Ensures circular economy target achievement
- Executes process development necessary to support cross-functional teams to achieve completion of new technologies and innovations
- Ensures that all new packages meet international recycling, health and safety requirements and other regulations
- Assures technology state of the art through patent protection of all new developments and technologies
- Connects with consumers and generates consumer insights through various platforms
Your skills:
- University technical degree or equivalent (Engineering, Packaging Technology and etc.)
- Additional technical & business-oriented qualifications is an advantage
- Relevant experience in packaging operations and/or development areas of FMCG industries at least 2 years
- Relevant experience in project management and clear understanding of product and process development & implementation
- Experience within the packaging production industry is an advantage
- Fluency in English (level upper-intermediate or higher)
- Leadership and ability to impact and influence to move things forward, while balancing differing ideas / agendas
- Clear understanding of the key business parameters and their influence on the area activities
- Consumer needs understanding and proven capability of integrating commercial needs and technical solutions
- Strong team player and result-oriented with respect for quality and timing
- Analytical, communication, negotiation, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Ability to lead and manage projects with medium to high level of complexity (technical / geographical / business impact / No of stakeholders / CapEx)
