As a videographer, you will be involved in the end-to-end creative process of making a video - from setting the creative direction to filming and editing.
This is a remote position with regular travel, i.e. each month you will join team for 5-6 days to do the filming together and then work the rest of the month remotely on editing videos and preparing for the next round of filming.
Travel expenses will be covered and shared accommodation will be available for female candidates. Team currently does not have the budget to cover a private accommodation, but if you live in the region and/or do not require accommodation - you're welcome to apply.
Requirements:
- You're able to translate a script into a video story
- You have basic experience in filming (no equipment is required)
- You're able to edit videos at the quality on par or above the current one on the channel
- You're able to independently record additional screencasts and b-roll when needed
- You enjoy working in a team, helping others and learning together. Despite being remote, this is a very collaborative role and is not a good fit for someone who prefers working alone
- You're not afraid of trying out new things - we are all learning here, failure is not an issue
- Ideally, you live no more than a 3-hour flight away from Austria, Hungary or Slovenia
- A good proficiency in English and Russian is required, but you don't need to be a native speaker in either. Fill out the application on next page in whatever language you're most comfortable with
- To ensure uninterrupted travel, you need to be fully vaccinated
- Please do not apply if you're only interested in a short-term gig. Company is looking for someone who wants to commit to at least a year
- Note that this is a full-time freelance position and you will be responsible for covering your own taxes and insurance.
