International catering company is ready to recruit its future Purchasing Director with a strong experience in food business in Russia (National distribution, Horeca), a good supply chain knowledge, and more than 5 years in management position in purchasing.
Responsabilities:
Monitor the Russian market to look for new suppliers sourcing opportunities
Manage RFI and RFQ process
Analyze and challenge specifications while ensuring the highest quality standards
Handle the supplier relationship management
Build sourcing strategies
Report food basket index / provide market analysis
Define saving plan and align it with area purchasing manager based in France, and local teams.
Supervise purchasing staff in regions, and allocating tasks, to improve the structuration of the work in regions
Report progress to project and management team
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience in a management position in purchasing
Proven leadership and management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development
Strong experience in Horeca/Distribution business to manage various purchasing categories (Food, MRO, cleaning and other indirect material and services), knowledge of basic cost structures and cost drivers
Strong and confident negotiator with the ability to negotiate at all levels
Good supply chain knowledge to tackle various challenges such as planning, delivery, and storage of goods across Russia
Leadership skills to drive the change in the organisation.
Experience in indirect purchasing is a plus (IT/IS material and services, transport, equipments…)
Conditions:
Full time position, based in Moscow
Regular business trips required in Russia (up to 30%, in north and far-east regions).
Fluent in Russian, advanced in English. French is a plus
