Job Description:
Job purpose :
- Implementation of Capacity Built-up Projects for Biscuits and other categories as per business plan to meet market demand
Capacity Gearing Projects:
- Project feasibility study for green field and brownfield projects at ICMLs
- Understanding of Project ROI and TOC for equipment selection
- Budget estimation, plant layout development and Utilities sizing
- Procurement of equipment, utilities and civil infrastructure
- Manage project execution at multiple locations within Capex budget and timelines
- Commissioning of line and co-ordination for performance protocol
Engineering Excellence & Cost Saving:
- Technology selection for Key equipment like Oven, distribution and packing machines.
- Replication of Cost saving and end of line automation project at multiple plant location
Team Capability Enhancement:
- Undertake period review to ascertain team progress vis-à-vis plans
- Identify & bridge gaps as required – capability / resource / budget / approval constraints
- Provide support as required with hands-on involvement in case of mismatch in priorities & resources availability
- Managing high stakes responsibilities with limited resources by aligning priorities of large teams from other functions
- Capacity Gearing Projects- ~ INR 100 crore
- Greenfield / Brownfield Projects – ranging from INR 300-500 crore over multiple years
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Graduate in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical/ Industrial Automation ) with 6 -10 years of experience including 3-5 years of leading large value green field or brown field projects
Skills:
- Hands on experience of executing large value food processing line 50–100 Cr.
- Knowledge of Foods Manufacturing Processes, Industry Practices & Cost Structure
