Schindler Group is looking for a Field Operations Project Manager.
Your key tasks include:
Develop and track comprehensive project management plan including scheduling, resource — and capacity planning and quality assurance.
Manage all project related tasks to achieve the project objectives on time and within the cost target by strictly enforcing safety, quality and customer satisfaction throughout the entire duration of the project.
Assure effective project management, smooth and timely communication with all parties involved, with the representatives of the customer.
Planning and managing budget.
Sell variation orders timely to reach financial objectives.
Follow the process-oriented Project Management from award until handover to customer including all statutory requirements and deliverables.
Ensure compliance to Schindler Organizational Norms, policies, procedures and requirements of the process and quality hold points defined in the work instructions of the TREX process.
Sign off as defined in ON 17100 for large projects, execute all contractual terms to continuously protecting Schindler’s financial entitlements.
Lead the project team and assign adequate authorities and responsibilities.
Attract, retain and develop employees to meet current and future business needs.
You have proven record in leadership and people management.
Furthermore, you possess the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
Post-graduation in general management or project management.
(i.e. PMP Certification) is an asset.
experience in the elevator and escalator industry — is an asset.
Experience in construction industry with experience in commercial & financial project management is an advantage.
Fluent English.
