H&M is seeking a Project Manager of Internal Communications.

 

Job description:

Carrying out and managing internal communications projects & activities in cooperation with PR Manager. Responsibility for particular tasks to be agreed with the PR Manager
Responsible for internal activities and tools: e.g. ambassador programs, articles for Inside
H&M Backstage — proofreading and writing local content
Managing internal letters / information, competitions etc.
Proof readings / translations international information and completing approvals
Employer branding topics in collaboration with HR
Maintaining a close contact with your local HR Manager to have the latest info both from the local market and on a company level
Organizing internal events
Communicating H&M messages externally and internally in communications issues together with local PR Manager and HO
Propose ideas and activities in order to create opportunities to promote the H&M brand Responsible for communication with store for in-store press appointments
Managing all in-store filming (as decided together with local PR Manager)
Maintaining relationships with relevant target groups and contacts, both internally and externally
Questions and routines – test samples, product recalls etc.
Supporting the PR Manager in communication around store openings
Actively communicating H&M-related news like openings, new collections and events connected to the company externally as well as internally in accordance with set messages
Garment donations / collecting
Assisting the PR Manager with store events
Evaluating and reporting results of the projects carried out
Maintaining and updating a relevant, wide database of contacts
Cooperating with relevant sub-contractors
Local media monitoring and analysis (through subcontractors)
Various administrative tasks as decided together with the PR Manager

 

Requirements:

Minimum 3-4 years’ experience from similar positions and/or within the PR agency segment.
Being an excellent communicator both oral and in writing
Fluent in English, both oral and in writing
Experience in working with web administration (editorial focus)
Experience and great knowledge in writing, both for internal and external purposes(information texts, press releases, articles, analyses etc.)
Having a very good knowledge and high interest in fashion
Having a great fashion feeling and a sense of what is the right quality level
Good knowledge of the fashion media market
Experience of strategic communication and PR
Network of relevant media contacts
Open and friendly attitude towards external and internal audiences
“Can do” approach
Negotiation skills and ability to “get things done”
Flexible & easily adapting to changing conditions
Being an “H&M person”, understanding and liking our company values
Has excellent computer skills
Being proactive / taking own initiatives and able to work independently as well as working well within a team.
