Your Role
- This role is part of the Process Excellence and Capabilities Team. The person will be the Project Manager – Master Data Management, Management Reporting & Supply Chain Finance workstreams of Global Business Services (GBS), Ekaterra India Service Pvt Ltd and will be a lead. The role will require working within MDM, MR and SCF workstreams of GBS Team as well as stakeholders in different parts of ekaterra and also extensive working with 3rd party service provider.
- Project Manager (MDM, MR and SCF) will drive all tasks & activities required for ekaterra and outsourced 3rd party service provider to complete in order to have an effective and timely transition of services relating to MDM, MR and SCF operations from ekaterra to outsourced 3rd party service provider (3PSP)
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Some of the key responsibilities of the role are:
- Manage ekaterra transition related activities for MDM, MR and SCF operations by making sure internal ekaterra GBS team and 3rd party service provider (3PSP) team is ready to run operations from the day of go-live Identify and communicate ekaterra identified Transition risks to Third Party Service Provider (3PSP)
- Review the consolidated Transition risk logs with 3PSP counterpart and assist with mitigation, escalation when appropriate and closure of the risks
- Follow up with ekaterra risk owners so that action is taken Coordinate and track global external engagement & communication activities as required for GBS Working with GBS Tower Leads from ekaterra and from 3PSP leads to make sure team members (both internal & from 3PSPs) have been adequately trained for running end state financial operations
- Working with GBS Tower Leads and 3PSP leads to make sure all desktop procedures (SOPs) have been completed on time and accurately Working with GBS Tower Leads and 3PSP leads to make sure planned
- User Acceptance Testing and cutover activities have been timely and accurately completed Working with GBS Tower Leads and 3PSP leads to make sure MDM, MR and SCF operations achieve stable status during hyper-care Participating in regular cadence set up by GBS transition lead and providing regular updates on status of Planned vs Actual deliverables As the project situation demands, performing hands on activities of creating & reviewing SOPs, executing & reviewing User Acceptance Testing, performing cutover validations, performing operations after go-live
Skills/Experience:
- The role holder should have strong project management and MDM, MR and SCF operations experience. They should have and should be able to demonstrate
- Project & Change Management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with stakeholders GBS Tower Leads and 3PSP leads
- Problem solving capabilities and action oriented
- Ability to influence senior stake holders and cross functional teams to drive agenda

- Strong experience in Master Data, Management Reporting, COPA (Controlling & Profitability Analysis), Supply Chain Finance (Product Costing, Actual Costing, Transfer Pricing) operations in SAP environment

Professional Qualification / Experience:
- Graduate with 9+ years or Post Graduate with 7+ years of project management and MDM, MR & SCF operations experience in equivalent organization at least one other global organisation
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel or MS projects for tracking project progress
- Working experience in driving major projects or programs in finance shared service centres
- Strong MDM, MR and SCF operations experience in SAP environment
