Schneider Electric is looking for a Project Director (Process Automation).

Company is looking for Project Director, who will be responsible for managing large Process Automation projects in Russia and who will be a part of Global Major Projects team.
What will you be responsible for:
- Total overall responsibility for the success of assigned projects both in terms of commercial success for Process Automation and delivery success viewed by our customers. Achieved through close working relationship with assigned Project Managers
- Leading and validating a successful overall project strategy and ensuring tactical plans are effectively deployed
- Development and promotion of client relationships, up to executive level, towards a partnership approach, to mitigate potential issues and risks and set relationships for future business
- Development and assessment through coaching and guidance of assigned project teams
- Ensuring adherence to all company and statutory requirements and policies whilst challenging current practice to identify opportunities for greater effectiveness and potential cost savings
- Support to Senior Management in the development and introduction of new or revised practices, tools or policies
Additional Senior Project Manager responsibilities:
- Management of major international multi party projects
- Coaching and guidance of other more junior Project Managers / Engineers
- Identification and implementation of improvements within the Projects Group
Additional Project Manager responsibilities:
- Setting and communicating overall project strategy, to ensure compliance with customer requirements, maximization of project margins, most effective use of engineering resources
- Timely execution of assigned projects and all matters commercial, technical and schedule
- Formal contract review and acceptance in relation with the contract manager
- Responsible, via the project team, for the identification and resolution of discrepancies between order and quotation, technical compliance and agreed schedule
- All aspects of customer interface including contract and commercial negotiations, progress reporting, change control, issue resolution etc.
- Setting overall project budgets. Monitor, control and report expenditure within budget parameters and authority limits, look for continual improvements
- Overall responsibility for the performance of engineering Team. Completion of a project “wrap up” review and Team performance evaluation
- Project, Customer and management communication strategy and delivery
- Formal acceptance by the customer
- Overall management of the Document control, Archiving and Project “close-out” activities
- Close liaison with other Schneider Electric LOB (line of business) to ensure smooth program implementation
- Keep abreast of industry trends in technology, engineering methodology and design tools. Be aware of the development of existing and new Process Automation hardware, software products and engineering support products
- Work closely with sales personnel as part of the proposal team in selling situations in order to ensure a smooth project transition from direct sales into Engineering
- To identify and carry out reasonable duties as may be necessary
- To comply with Health and Safety guidelines and work in accordance with Company/Department Quality procedures
- Report monthly on activities in agreed format
What will help you to be successful:
- Degree in Chemical/Electrical/Control Engineering or related discipline
- Proven track record in managing complex multi-party projects and project teams
- Familiar with ICSS, including process automation equipment, solution and services
- Organization skills and strong commercial/financial aptitude
- Advanced level of English language
- PMP certification
