Respublika Bank is looking for Product Owner (Mobile Banking).

 

Bank Respublika was established in 1992 and is one of the five leading banks in Azerbaijan. The bank's shareholders include Germany's largest financial institution - Sparkassen International Development Trust (a member of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe financial group). The bank has one of the highest international ratings in the banking sector of Azerbaijan - a rating of "B3" with a "Positive" outlook from Moody's.

Requirements:

  • Must have proven experience as a Product Owner within a Financial Services environment, ideally within Mobile Banking, payment systems environment and B2B
  • Strong understanding of business priorities and requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills are required
  • Any prior understanding or exposure to big data tools and technologies would be beneficial
  • Sound understanding of application development process and technologies
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Have experience building solutions for end customers and managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its life cycle
  • Analytical skills will also be viewed as a plus, especially in understanding data (e.g. Excel, Python, SQL)
  • Degree-level education, ideally in a STEM subject or similar

 

Role:

  • Take the lead of scrum teams as the Product Owner
  • Providing vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and creating requirements
  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product
  • Define product vision, road map and growth opportunities
  • Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with maximum value that are aligned with product strategy
  • Work closely with the Product Management team (BA, marketing, design and etc.) to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value or ROI
  • Lead the planning of product release plans and set the expectation for delivery of new functionalities
  • Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals
  • Research and analyze the market, the users, and the road map for the product
  • Follow our competitors and the industry
  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends

 

Responsibilities:

  • Industry and market research, including hands-on, in-depth knowledge of competitive products and maintaining technical analysis of competitive strengths and weaknesses
  • Define product roadmap and specification requirements
  • Conduct feasibility studies & write business plans
  • Lead product design, development and release process for assigned products
  • Support initial product roll-outs and integration
  • Create detailed use cases, business requirements, and marketing requirements; - with BA
  • Ensure adequate throughput of user stories to the development team; - scrum master
  • Contribute towards QA test cases and be an active participant in sprints, demos and tests
  • Write/edit user manual, sales support documentation, proposal templates and other collateral; PO and QA
  • Draft contract templates in conjunction with the legal team
