xpate is searching for a Product Owner (Payment Gateway).
What you will be working on:
Form a vision and strategy for the product development;
To initiate and continue the team’s goals;
Establish synchronization of product development and maintenance stages between different divisions of the company (Finance, development and customer support);
Communicate with stakeholders and users to clarify requirements and their level of satisfaction.
Identify system requirements and dive into the problem that the user and business face;
Maintain a team’s backlog — set, analyze, and change product development priorities based on the user’s needs;
Create and escalate end-user stories for development;
Be responsible for the financial results of the product and the level of customer satisfaction.
What you need to succeed in this role:
A-player attitude;
Great if you have experience managing innovative products in the ecommerce/fintech industries for 2+ years;
It will be great if you have a technical background and / or technical education;
English language proficiency at the Upper-Intermediate level;
Problem-oriented approach to development and focus on custdev;
Facilitation — the ability to launch initiatives and organize the process to create a common understanding or decision by the group;
Communication — the ability to convince and explain complex things in simple language and Vice versa, to explain simple things in complex technical language;
Leadership qualities — the ability to defend solutions, product, and team.
