Google is looking for a Product Marketing Manager (Brand and Reputation).

 

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience developing data and insights based marketing strategies
  • Experience in project management and working on multiple work streams
  • Ability to speak and write in Romanian and English fluently

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in setting up and executing partnerships that drive brand perception
  • Experience and subject-matter expertise in Privacy, Security, and/or Safety
  • Ability to think strategically about complex issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and marketing plans
  • Excellent stakeholder and project management skills to lead complex projects across multiple product areas and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to speak and write in Ukrainian and/or Russian fluently

 

About the job:

  • Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end
  • In this role, you will be responsible for the reputation strategy and key initiatives with a focus on content responsibility, online safety and privacy. You will assess the brand challenges for Google in Romania (RO) and Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) and shape communication strategy and initiatives to position Google as a reliable and trusted partner. You will be working in a collaborative and cross-functional environment involving close work with Public Relations, Policy, Legal, and Engineering both locally and across Google’s global and EMEA offices

Responsibilities:

  • Understand user behaviour, market/industry dynamics, and brand challenges for Google in Romania with a focus on content safety via research or qualitative analysis
  • Develop a marketing and communication strategy for Google to drive brand trust across audiences through our safety products and programs
  • Conceptualize and oversee execution for Google’s reputational and safety initiatives and communication campaigns in paid and owned channels across all media formats
  • Scale outreach and partnerships in RO and CEE to create frameworks for cooperation between platforms, public sector, and experts
  • Ensure close-collaboration and alignment with partner functions on the leadership and working group level. Establish yourself as a safety marketing expert for the CEE marketing team and as partner for cross-functional team
