Samsung is looking for a Product Marketing Group Leader.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overall managing of MX PM team: Key R&R and tasks definition (2 Parts under direct supervision), optimizing tasks allocation to maximize performance and effectiveness of resources allocation; Tasks and projects delegation and control; Ensuring maximum level of Team members engagement, performance and motivation
  • Defines the product vision, product roadmap, and product positioning; Analyzes market and competition data to create products to match and surpass current industry standards; Creates, maintains, and adjusts the product-line-level strategy; Communicates product vision to the sales and product marketing teams to obtain target market share for the product; Creates product requirements for the support and engineering teams to bring new products to market or to enhance existing features
  • Holds responsibility over the development and launch of new products (GTM) and MX Team cross-functional coordination
  • Developing and executing product life cycle management strategies and guide product management practices, building project management practices around agile methodologies
  • Driving and modifying key performance indicators (KPIs), and objectives and key results (OKRs)
  • Product category pricing management, SD (sales deduction) and P&L management
  • Reporting process setting and building transparency as for Sales volumes, SD investment levels, Profit, ROI
  • Sell-out platforms development and execution

 

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position, 10+ years experience in product category management; ability to demonstrate expertise in the field
  • Highly desirable: Experience with Telecom / SMP / IT / CE / (or durable or FMCG) goods markets; Experience with International Company / Brand
  • Expertise in project management and managing complex GTM projects
  • Expertise in complex projects budgets planning, consolidation, execution & reporting, advanced Excel proficiency
  • Brand guidelines implementation control & policy development; ROI analysis & co-marketing investment optimization
  • Yearly projects planning & activity calendar management; harmonization or brand / promo communication
  • 3rd party / contractors management for the campaign cycle: briefs, creative concepts, media planning & reporting
  • Presentation & reporting of business plans/strategy & results to executive level
  • Energetic personality; self-motivation & positive attitude
  • Strong communication (interpersonal) skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams cross-functionally / relationship-building
  • Capability to effectively prioritize and keep focus under high workload & multiple projects/tasks
  • Performance management; ability to deliver results
  • Team management, delegation, motivation & development
  • Data management & analytics skills; attention to details & accuracy in reporting
  • English - Upper-intermediate at least
