Context:

  • For Unilever to remain competitive in the future, the business needs to continue its path to become data intelligent. The Data and Analytics team is responsible for building data, data science and analytics as a core capability to help the business become data intelligent and drive business and organization performance. The team will deliver advanced products at scale and work closely with the market teams to ensure that decisions in Unilever are augmented with insight & recommendations wherever possible
  • Nexus team aims to unlock the full potential of Data & Analytics capabilities in Unilever through easy-to-access, joined-up user journeys across products delivering a personalized and best in class user experience
  • We are currently seeking a talented Manager (Product Manager - Nexus) to join the team. The successful candidate will work closely with products & markets to implement the Nexus strategy and be pivotal in the designing the platform and setup, onboarding markets/products to the platform as required, steady state and play a significant role in future evolution of the platform in terms of User experience. This will be a hands-on position with a 25/75 split between management and carrying out the roles and responsibilities as detailed


Team management:

  • Coordinate and manage teams/3rd parties as applicable
  • Work with other teams in D&A to deliver projects

 

Stakeholder management:

  • Communicate clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
  • Present the Nexus Proposition and help create the brand value around the same in the markets/stakeholder groups
  • Communicate with users to understand their business goals, objectives, pain points and outcomes
  • Analyse user feedback and activity, and iterate to enhance the overall platform user experience
  • Communicate synergy in design leverage concepts from UX guidelines clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization
  • Deliver the project as per the market needs & help in change and adoption
  • Experience and qualifications required:

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for engaging with market teams to understand their requirements, guide the process to finalize the scope & set the priorities
  • Work with technology & delivery teams to land solutions meeting these requirements
  • This role is part of the engagement team so primarily responsible for engaging with markets & other products
  • Lead Platform Scale-outs to new markets /products
  • Drive platform demos, trainings in the market & various product groups
  • Assist and play active role in requirement finalization and Delivery/Onboarding plan Lock-in
  • Collaborates internally and works with identified stakeholders to create joined-up user journeys and ensures best in class User experience is delivered to business

 

Governance:

  • Governance with Suppliers, Markets & Product Teams
  • Works closely with lead managers and LT for driving up the platform usage and penetration
  • Should also be able to govern vendor resources to resolve escalations, measure their performance and coordinate any improvements required

 

Required Skills:

  • Working with varied business owners / product owners to align plans and deliverables
  • Appreciation of Data Visualization concepts
  • Working with varied IT teams to resolve dependencies and impediments
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology, JIRA, Teams, SharePoint
  • Desirable: Cloud based applications, UEx centric, Power BI, MS Azure, SQL,
  • Working experience in Data Analytics and Information products
  • Familiarity with Unilever Processes and various teams involved in the lifecycle of a product/platform
