About the team:
In this role, you will report to the Head of Growth.
A 100+ members team with strong collaboration and partnership across product and go-to-market teams. Mission is to scale Miro usage and revenue through improving customer experience, testing hypotheses, and uncovering new growth opportunities.
Each role at Miro is based at one of physical hubs. Mironeers work in a hybrid model, with three days a week in office culture as baseline.
About the role:
You will significantly impact Miro's growth by driving Miro's expansion in major markets and languages: crafting the internalization and localization strategy, creating & evangelizing localization guides with cross-functional partners, building cross-functional teams to optimize for end-to-end customer experience, business outcomes, and speed of execution.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and implement internationalization and localization strategy
- Define the quality requirements and most relevant metrics on localization investments, oversee and balance budgets
- Build and drive cross-functional localization teams, ensure operational efficiency
- Explore, assess, and select technologies, freelancers, vendors, linguists, subject-matter experts in the domain
- Create and evangelize localization best practices with cross-functional partners
- Lead all aspects of end-to-end localization workflow across the teams and systems, assess, identify and communicate opportunities and risks timely
What you’ll need:
- Considerable experience in building and driving scalable localization teams and programs in a fast-growing business
- Knowledge of localization technologies, vendors, standards
- Obsession for operational efficiency & excellence: build efficient processes, remove roadblocks and bureaucracy, raise the bar in everything you do
- Ownership and accountability: accountable for the impact and high-quality delivery
- Strong cross-functional partnership and stakeholder management skills
- Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, ability to influence without authority
- International mentality: natural interest for different cultures and languages
