Tech-travel ventures ZEN Rooms is looking for a Product Director.
ZEN is a travel technology group for Southeast Asian budget & mid-range hotels. Company provides state-of-the-art technology solutions for hotel clients to help them increase revenue and achieve operational efficiency. Company`s portfolio consists of top SaaS and software products: AI-driven Revenue Management system, world’s #1 hotel software, OTA with localized Marketing Boost, growth-driven marketing solutions.
The pandemic has accelerated the need for tech-driven marketing and operations innovation in hospitality and 2021 has been a great year for company. Goal is to democratize travel in the region with a network of 10,000 budget & mid-range hotels by 2022, helping them increase revenue and achieve operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the overall product vision and development on multiple platforms (web, mobile web, native apps)
- Analyze and identify the needs and use cases of all stakeholders, from end users to customer service
- Scope and develop the medium-term and long-term roadmap in close collaboration with the top management
- Work closely with the engineering team to ship high-quality and performance products
- Manage the smooth handover of the product roadmap and knowledge base
- Be part of the decision-making process, proactively deconstruct and analyze both technical and product requirements
- Adopt, share and adapt conventions and best-practices
- Find balance and compromises between “yes” and “no”
- Actively track progress across multiple streams and create transparency and visibility
- Generally oversees the entire product lifecycle
Requirements:
- You have 4+ years of product management experience, preferably in the startup and web industry
- You have world-class interpersonal and communication skills
- You are an independent, proactive problem solver and have a hands-on approach
- You are looking for a big challenge and want to have an impact on a global scale
- You are self-motivated and strive to find pragmatic, incremental paths to success, even when faced with big challenges
