Baker Hughes is looking for a Procurement Leader. As a Procurement Leader you will ensure supplier development within Russia and Caspian region to support future project development.
As a Procurement and Sourcing Leader, you will be responsible for:
- Defining and leading procurement strategies at regional level to support supplier development
- Advising Project and Functional managers or other Functions regarding approaches, processes and procedures regarding supplier development
- Setting and implementing the supplier development strategy to ensure due diligence, supplier quality, pricing analysis across the supplier development process
- Creating approaches and methods for solving complex problems in supplier development and procurement strategies
- Negotiating terms and conditions and long term agreements with suppliers
- Working with cross functional teams and Influencing on small business unit or Family within a Function or P&L
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
- Have 10 years’ experience and above in Procurement & Sourcing
- Demonstrate competence in building sourcing strategies, negotiations, supplier selection/ management and negotiating sourcing contracts
- Be able to demonstrate relevant experience in Oil and Gas or Energy/Power industry
- Have experience in sourcing development is a must
- Have direct material experience including - machining, fabrication, raw material forgings
- Be able to speak fluent English and Russian
