Japan Tobacco International is looking for a Pricing Modelling Group Manager.
Minimum requirements:
- University degree: Mathematics, Statistics, Economics
- English: Advanced (both, spoken and written)
- 5+ years’ experience in Marketing Research Department or Research Agency
- Understanding of tobacco market, Price impacts, trade channels, trends in Russia market, market segmentation
- Advanced MS Office user; knowledge of statistical programs, Power BI, SQL is a plus
- Skills and knowledge: strong analytical skills, big data analysis, advanced communication and presentation skills
- Personality characteristics: structured approach & self-discipline, high attention to details, orientation to result
- People management skills
Main areas of responsibility:
- Development of Integrated Comprehensive Price model (incl. MT and TT channels separate reading, including all Nicotine cross-categories Price assessment) set-up and monthly support, incl preparation for ASP / SRP, OL and RSF
- Continually review strategic insights capability for emerging gaps in pricing related knowledge, identify and implement local projects and tools that will address gaps and ensure quality of decision-making. Alternative pricing sources / tools and solutions improvement assessment
- Provide all the necessary inputs during the official forecast processes (ASP/OL/LE) related to pricing scenarios assessment and pricing strategy build-up
- Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues to insure JTI price competitiveness across all nicotine products
- Evolve and improve how pricing related topics are shared throughout the business - work to ensure insights are broadly received and understood
- Recruit, motivate and guide the professional development of the team
