H&M is currently looking for a Press Officer.
Job Description:
Carry out and develop PR projects & activities in cooperation with COM/PR Manager
Maintain relationships with the relevant fashion media, so that H&M is at the forefront of fashion
Maintain relationships with the relevant Corporate / CSR media, so that H&M is at the forefront of CSR positioning
Maintain relationships with executive fashion editors and to be aware of publication opportunities
Adjust communication activities to the needs of relevant key media
Maintain and update a relevant, wide database of contacts
Gather and share with the PR team information on the current publication opportunities and projects carried out by the key fashion media
Collaborate with COM/PR manager on press and in-store customer events
Manage with COM/PR Manager some of the small openings
Cooperate with the showroom team in order the maximize the media coverage on H&M
Cooperate with relevant suppliers
Drive awareness of H&M collections by timely distributing media materials, such as images and Electronic Press Kits
Work with project briefs, writing and proof reading
Liaise with marketing department for social media activities
Qualifications:
Performance level ++ or +++ (only for H&M employees)
Location in Moscow or Moscow region is must
Good in English, both oral and in writing
Minimum 3-4 years’ experience from similar positions and/or within the PR agency segment
Good contacts and press relationships in fashion (essential) and interiors / celebrity, as well as knowledge of Corporate
Being an excellent communicator both oral and in writing
Fluent in English, both oral and in writing
Experience and great knowledge in writing, both for internal and external purposes(information texts, press releases, articles, analyses etc)
Having a very good knowledge and high interest in fashion
Having a great fashion feeling and a sense of what is the right quality level
Good knowledge of the fashion media market
Experience of strategic communication and PR
Network of relevant media contacts
Open and friendly attitude towards external and internal audiences
“Can do” approach
Negotiation skills and ability to “get things done”
Flexible & easily adapting to changing conditions
Being an “H&M person”, understanding and liking our company values
Has excellent computer skills
Being proactive/taking own initiatives and able to work independently as well as working well within a team.
