Lenovo is searching for a PR and Communications Senior Manager (RU and CIS).
Position responsibilities:
Lead for all internal and external communications activities within the East region.
Development and driving of communications strategy, goals, budget and tactics in line with both local, EMEA and global priorities.
Management of local communications agency to drive Lenovo’s reputation in the East region - particularly with media, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and online media with a particular focus on Tier1 general, business, consumer and gaming media.
Engage audiences across traditional and new media, including organic social media amplification.
Exploit media relationships and cultivate new contacts within target media.
Guide executive communications promoting the Regional General Manager and his leadership team as key spokespeople.
Maintaining an efficient press office: manage media inquiries, media relations and interview requests.
Crisis/issues management and conflict litigation.
Content creation (press releases, byline articles and keynote presentations, executive speech writing, etc.).
Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a monthly basis.
Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and paid media agreements.
Build relationships with thought leaders to grow industry awareness.
Maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them, including Thought Leadership content, hot trends and ESG topics.
Position requirements:
Proven working experience of 8-10 years in public relations both agency roles and/or inhouse preferably in in the technology sector and ideally within global companies or working for international brands.
Established relationships with key journalists in target media.
Native-level Russian speaker, fluent in English (written and spoken).
Experience with a wide range of marketing disciplines, and understanding of how to leverage paid, earned, owned and shared channels. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience with senior leadership.
The successful candidate must:
Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns in Russia plus knowledge of Ukraine and Kazakhstan media landscape.
Work seamlessly with EMEA communications and local marketing, product and leadership stakeholders.
Have strong project management skills in multitasking; able to juggle multiple priorities and take end-to-end ownership of projects.
Be able to make strategic, prudent decisions (at times without full information).
Be able to course-correct and influence key, senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment against fast-breaking developments and timelines.
Be a strategic thinker as well as a practical doer, comfortable getting things done despite limited resources.
Constantly challenge the status quo; be entrepreneurial in pursuing new communications ideas and better ways of storytelling - with a sharp eye for great creative and detail.
Articulate, confident and tactful in interacting with senior leadership, from presenting an internal communications plan to facilitating executive press interviews.
Develop, measure and report on metrics that inform strategy and track performance.
