The UNICEF Pacific Education team provides support to 14 Pacific Island Countries and Territories as part of a 5-year Multi-Country Programme extending from 2018-2022. The programme aims to support countries in achieving relevant SDG and national targets, and has an overarching results matrix, targeted indicators linked to specific programmes, and a series of standard monitoring questions requiring reporting once annually. In addition, the programme is guided by information on the context and status of education in the PICTs and needs to update the same and have easy-to-access briefs on the same. Finally, in a region managing COVID19, which affected all 14 countries, and the impact of TC Harold (category 5) in education systems in 3 countries, there are additional indicators and data related to defining & tracking results for emergency response.
