Citibank is currently looking for a PMO Project Manager.
POSITION OBJECTIVE:
Organizing and leading bank-wise and cross-functional projects, incl. aimed to improve internal processes
Establish approaches to project and process management
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead projects and track their execution in accordance with local guidelines and relevant regional project management standards
Accountable for project delivery end-to-end, ensure project is delivered on time and fulfills planned goals
Set up and run proper project governance, including steering committees and regular stakeholder update
Form up project team, ensure effective team collaboration
Work with project sponsor to identify project stakeholders. Manage stakeholders efficiently
Work across lines, including other PMs to consolidate end-to-end project plan, including business, operations and technology readiness aspects
Follow through on project execution, and work on eliminating project implementation impediments
Efficiently identify risks and mitigate issues. Timely escalate issues to project sponsor and the steering committee for direction
Use lessons learnt from similar initiatives to anticipate and minimize challenges. Accumulate and report lessons learnt for a given project and for project management approach
Lead the changes in project management / operational excellence area
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge / Experience:
Proven track record in delivery of complex banking projects / programs, incl. in process improvement and operational excellence area
Experience in business processes reengineering
Knowledge of Lean / 6 Sigma, TQM and other process improvement methodologies
Experience in project management and process management methodologies, as well as relevant standards and procedures setting
Deep understanding of banking products and related operational processes
Qualifications:
Higher technical or financial education
Preferable economics or relevant masters degree
Language requirements — fluent English, both verbal and written
