Global software vendor JetBrains is searching for Personal Data Protection and Employment Lawyer.

 

Responsibilities:
In this role, you will help the HR and legal teams in Russia support JetBrains legal entities and their operations, with a particular focus on the following matters: Counseling HR and other colleagues on various matters related to employment law, including legal issues involving interviewing candidates for employment, making offers to or rejecting candidates, hiring candidates, amending and terminating employment agreements, and the handling of employees' personal data according to local and international legislation
Drafting and reviewing employment agreements and amendments to them
Counseling the DPO, IT director, Recruitment team, and other colleagues, and making decisions on any matters related to personal data protection for employees and JetBrains customers in Russia
Supporting JetBrains legal entities in the course of government audits held by Roskomnadzor regarding personal data protection matters
Drafting privacy and recruitment policies and consents for processing the personal data of employees and customers in various cases
Being responsible for managing our legal relationship with contractors, including drafting agreements and other documents and maintaining the register of contractors
Helping HR maintain and update the company’s local policies and regulations
Offering support from a legal perspective to a prevention officer who ensures safety on the work floor
Keeping track of legislative amendments relevant to the company, updating colleagues about them when necessary, and conducting training for the HR department and management
Advising regarding employment inquiries from government institutions
Communicating with legal colleagues from other offices and participating in cross-group projects related to labor law and data protection
Supporting the legal and HR teams with various other matters

 

Requirements:
University degree in law
At least 3 years of work experience in a global company, preferably in the IT sector, or in a specialized law firm
Considerable experience and broad knowledge of employment law and personal data protection regulations (knowledge of GDPR is preferable)
